چکیده

Artemisinin is a powerful antimalarial drug, useful in the treatment of many diseases, including chickens coccidiosis. Its toxic effects have been well studied humans and experimental animals, but not sufficiently broiler chickens. Therefore, present study, we aimed to assess side artemisinin chickens, by measuring serum level proteins enzymes (ALT, AST, GGT, ALP, CK), histopathological examination evaluation relative weight organs (liver, kidney, heart). was administered standard feed for three different concentrations: 5, 50 500 ppm. Each concentration increased total proteins, gamma-globulins activity CK decreased ALP level. The values ALT GGT were higher treated with ppm artemisinin. Multifocal liver necrosis inflammatory infiltrate detected that received dosage Minimal tubular necrosis, renal epithelium vacuolation, multifocal interstitial nephritis mild uric nephrosis drug. administration produced no significant changes weight. Artemisinin, at 5 mg/kg tolerated concentrations mg/ kg can produce effects.

Histomorphological studies of broiler chicken fed diets supplemented with either raw or enzyme treated dandelion leaves and fenugreek seeds

AIM Herbal plants and their derived products are extensively used particularly in many Asian, African, and other countries of the world as they are considered as ideal feed additives because of their non-residual effect and ability to influence the ecosystem of gastrointestinal microbiota in a positive way. Further, the enzymatic treatment of these herbs helps in their efficient utilization by ...
